Bernhard's professional experience includes more than twenty years as President of the Board of Directors, CEO, Member of the Executive Committee as well as management consultant in both national and international companies.

Recently, he managed a leading chain of denta clinics and repositioned the brand focussing on evidence based dentistry.

Bernhard was in charge for the market entry of an international healthcare service provider into the Swiss imaging market. Subsequently he was responsible for the Swiss country organisation as both President of the Board of Directors and CEO. This organisation became one of the leading service providers in the outpatient imaging diagnostic market within four years.

Before Bernhard used to be the head of operations and member of the executive committee of a large chain of retail pharmacies (annual turnover of 300 million Swiss Francs). Overall he assumed responsibility of 1100 employees.

Other professional experience include the assignment as the head of mergers and acquisitions of a large international service provider in the logistic industry as well as management consulting with a renowned international management consulting firm.

Bernhard is fluent in German, English and French.
